This is a slightly-fractured preview of the opening chapter of my new novel ONE OF US, the sequel to my anti-corporate-horror "Bukkakeworld". Obviously, as it features the death of Adolf Hitler in 1932(!), it's a science fiction piece about a parallel future inhabited by a sinister chrome race. Publisher pending. Ending pending.
